The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services towards the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it is alarmed with regard to the higher amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to read more your superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office committed to service the area daily. The assistance issue established for intervention ordeals a significant inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it tough for the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to allow the servicing of all clients and maximize use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
